On 19-20 March 2019 the Council of Europe organised the conference “Media pluralism – how can we deliver?” in partnership with the Reporters Without Borders on the occasion of the European Week of Media Literacy.
Tarlach McGonagle, senior researcher at IViR, spoke at this conference in a session called Media regulation 2.0: economic, technological and political threats to media pluralism in the aftermath of digitalisation.
McGonagle was also interviewed on this occasion and talked about the importance and challenges of media pluralism in the digital environment. Watch the video here:
