The Netherlands Network for Human Rights Research (NNHRR) Working Group on human rights in the digital age together with the Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam warmly invite you to join the launch of the “Decoding Hate” podcast series and the “Better Humans” podcast miniseries. Through interviews and discussions with renowned experts, the two series explore the interplay between AI and freedom of expression, the threats posed by disinformation, propaganda and hate speech, and the paths forward.
The series were made possible by grants from the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media’s Spotlight on Artificial Intelligence and Freedom of Expression project (#SAIFE).
The launch event will be held on 31 March from 16:00 – 17:15 (CET). Speakers include Susie Alegre, international human rights lawyer and barrister at Doughty Street Chambers and co-host of “Better Humans”; Katie Pentney, international human rights lawyer and host of “Decoding Hate”; and Deniz Wagner, Advisor at the OSCE RFoM. The event will be moderated by Prof. dr. Tarlach McGonagle, Senior lecturer and researcher at IViR and NNHRR Working Group member.
