IViR organiseert tweewekelijks een onderzoekslunch genaamd WEsearch. Het onderzoek van het IViR heeft zich uitgebreid naar verschillende interdisciplinaire domeinen, die zowel juridische als niet-juridische disciplines bestrijken, zoals economie, communicatiewetenschap, informatica, filosofie, digitale geesteswetenschappen en kunst. Bovendien is IViR betrokken bij een aantal projecten, zoals AlgoSoc, Trust in the Digital Society, Law and Governance of Quantum Technologies en het DSA Observatory.
WEsearch biedt een informeel intern platform voor collega’s om hun onderzoek te delen en te pitchen, waardoor samenwerking en vroege feedback worden bevorderd. Deze sessies bieden de mogelijkheid om inzicht te krijgen in lopende projecten, of ideeën uit te wisselen over verschillende onderzoeksinspanningen. WEsearch belooft boeiende discussies en een ondersteunende omgeving om meer te leren over het werk van anderen, samen ideeën te ontwikkelen en verbindingen te leggen tussen projecten en disciplines.
