Dr. C. Papaevangelou

Charis Papaevangelou is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam, studying the implications of the novel EU platform regulatory framework for the relationship between news media organisations and platforms. He holds a PhD from the University of Toulouse on the political economy of online platform governance, with a specific focus on the European Union regulatory landscape. His research expertise lies at the nexus of media, political, cultural, and social sciences. He is also a fellow of the Centre for Media, Tech and Democracy of McGill University and the Institute for Alternative Policies in Athens, Greece.
