mr. I.S. Toepoel

Iris Toepoel is a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Information Law (IViR). Currently, she is contributing to the Mobifree-project, a research which creates a human values based alternative to an mobile ecosystem Dr. H.L. Janssen. She also supports various other studies here at the Institute, as well as assisting in teaching bachelor students.

Prior to joining the IViR, Iris pursued her law degree at Leiden University (LL.B. & LL.M.). During her master's degree in civil law, she focused mainly on intellectual property law. She also has a keen academic interest in platform regulation and human rights.
